The GT-2000 11 boasts advanced FlyteFoam BLAST technology in the midsole, elevating underfoot cushioning for a luxuriously comfortable and soft landing experience. This technology not only delivers plush cushioning but also ensures your strides are lightweight and responsive. The FlyteFoam BLAST compound is impressively 55% lighter than the industry-standard EVA midsole material.
Embedded within the midsole is the Rearfoot GEL cushioning system, a feature designed to absorb and attenuate shock during footstrike. This not only protects your joints when landing on hard surfaces but also facilitates a smooth transition through the gait cycle. Asics enhances their cushioning technology with LITETRUSS, strategically implemented on the medial side of the midsole.

Innovative from the very start, ASICS’ first pair of shoes, produced in 1949, featured a unique recessed sole design, which mimicked the action of an octopus’ suction cup.
